With the world’s energy crises, which continues to grow by leaps and bounds. The response by the civilized world to the impending disaster has been largely to ignore it, hoping it will simply go away.
Unfortunately, the problem won’t go away, and is increasingly banging at humanity’s door, demanding attention.
The figures are in and they add up to a disaster of biblical proportions if the world’s people fail to act quickly and decisively.
The good news is that humans may be finally getting the message and looking at ways to turn around a disastrous trend of burning diminishing fossil fuels, which may fuel the planet now, but cannot be maintained indefinitely. And burning them only ads to the heavy environmental toll they have taken on the planet.
Clearly, humankind has to set a different course in its need for energy, one that involves less intrusive sources such as solar, wind and geothermal energy. They are energy sources that don’t harm the planet and will never run out.
The clock is ticking down but there’s still time. Humankind has proven to be resourceful and prudent in the past. It needs to be again in the crucial areas of energy and the environment inorder to assure sustainability for future generations.

Paper Presentation Rules:
- Registration fee Rs 100
- Participants can give their paper on any topic related to Energy Conservation Methods, Renewable Energy and other related topics.
- Maximum of two authors per paper
- One soft copy + two hard copies of abstract.
- Last date of submission of paper presentation Jan 27th 09.
- Students can give more than one paper for submission
- Participants should post their papers or deliver it by hand to the organizers at the college
- DD should be there in the favor of The Principal, MVSR Engineering college.
- Bonafide Certificate and College Id Xerox should be attached with the paper
- Participants will be intimated through e-mail about the selection of papers by Jan 29th 09.
Poster Presentation
Poster Presentation Rules :- Registration fee Rs 100
- Participants can give their Poster on any topic related to Energy Conservation Methods, Renewable Energy and other related topics.
- One soft copy + two hard copies
- Maximum of two authors per Poster
- Last date of submission of Poster presentation Jan 27th 09.
- Poster paper should be strictly in IEEE format
- Students can give more than one Poster for submission
- Participants should post their posters or deliver it by hand to the organizers at the college
- DD should be there in the favor of The Principal, MVSR Engineering college.
- Participants should fill up the registration form at the college/ take a printout from the blog and attach it with your paper
- Bonafide Certificate and College Id Xerox should be attached with the paper
